Assel England

I am an internationally experienced senior solicitor qualified in England and Wales as well as Kazakhstan and other Commonwealth Independent States.

Prior to qualifying as an English Solicitor, I worked in-house for multinational energy and resources companies in Kazakhstan and Australia. In the UK, I have worked in private practice delivering to SMEs, and national and international businesses on complex corporate transactions and commercial projects.

Throughout my career to date, I have exhibited skills in understanding business challenges,
anticipating and preventing risks, and finding pragmatic solutions. I pride myself on delivering
practical, user-friendly, tailored advice whilst enjoying a collaborative approach to working with clients and business teams.

At Lawbox, my primary focus is to continue applying my skills and expertise – in a totally
“lawesome” way – in helping businesses (whether they are just starting up or well-established) to realise their ambitions and to leverage opportunities!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family (even when it comes to negotiating bedtime with my two sons…), oriental dancing and travel. In addition, I volunteer at school PTA fundraising events and as a Chaperone at youth theatre school performances.
